Internship Program

Become an intern with MSIP to gain experience in technology development and commercialization.

About the Fellowship Program

MSIP’s fellowship program is designed to engage and educate early-career scientists, attorneys, and/or business professionals who have strong interests in the process of bringing new therapeutic, diagnostic, medical device or digital health technologies to the worldwide patient population. If successfully completed, the fellow will be prepared to leverage their expertise in science, business and law to help drive research discoveries to the marketplace.

A dual educational scheme has been designed to train our fellows in the various aspects of technology transfer. First, the MSIP fellowship program will engross fellows in the Tech Transfer EDU Boot Camp, where a holistic approach will be used to impart basics in the field of technology transfer. This portion of the program will utilize a case study approach, where the fellows will learn various concepts important for success in technology transfer such as contract negotiation, targeted market research, development of technology assessments, prior art searches, and examination of commercial potential.

Following the Boot Camp, fellows will then be matched to one of five specially-designed and hands-on educational tracks (Finance & Operations, Contracts, Marketing & Outreach, Intellectual Property Management, and Business Development) based on their interest level and needs of the business, that will provide streamlined teaching tools and examples, as well as the incredible opportunity to work closely with MSIP experts.
